  • "Walk-up" tickets may be purchased in person at the theatre up to one hour before each performance begins with cash, check, or credit card—as long as there are still tickets available. We recommend calling (313) 974-7918 before you head to the theatre so we can let you know.

  • Tickets must be paid for at the time of reservation. If this poses a challenge, call us at (313) 974-7918, and we'll make sure you can still get your tickets. All sales are final and non-refundable, but you may be able to exchange them for another performance. Scroll down for details!

  • All patrons (of any age) must have a ticket to attend a DPT event. Some of DPT's productions may be appropriate for children, but we recommend clicking on the show's title for more information.

+ Exchanges

  • If you've got tickets to a performance but can't make it, you can call the box office at (313) 974-7918 before the show begins to exchange them for another performance.
  • Season 9 Subscribers: Your exchanges are always free!
  • Single Ticket Holders: There is a fee of $4 per ticket for each exhange.

  • If you can't make it to another performance—first of all, we'll miss you! We're not able to refund tickets that aren't used, but you may donate your tickets back to DPT as a tax-deductible contribution. We'll send you a receipt showing the value of the donation.

  • Please note that ticket exchanges are subject to availability and at the discretion of the box office.
