Priscilla serves as President and CEO of the 54-year-old Accounting Aid Society. She leads a team of 50+ professionals and 100s of volunteers who help individuals and businesses use tax filing, financial analysis, and problem-solving to get control of their finances and gain control of their futures. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive with nearly 20 years of fundraising experience for nonprofit organizations. She has served as Senior Director of Development for Beaumont Health Foundation and Chief Development Officer for Lighthouse.
She is a past co-chair of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) Arthur L. Johnson – Honorable Damon Jerome Keith Classical Roots Celebration which supports increased opportunities for African Americans in classical music through DSO programs like the African American Orchestra Fellowship and African American Composer Residency. She is currently a Detroit Symphony Orchestra Trustee. She is also a trustee with Detroit Public TV. She is a member and Vice President of the Greater Wayne County (MI) Chapter, Links, Incorporated, an international, non-for-profit corporation devoted to volunteer service. She serves on the Leadership Giving Committee of the United Way of Southeastern Michigan, and served as a Detroit Project Leader of Achieving Women Enterprise, an organization creating change through empowering low income minority women entrepreneurs. She is a past President of Sorosis Literary and Art Club, a 104 year-old Detroit organization devoted to supporting the arts and the literary and social talents of its members.
Priscilla grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana, and received her MBA from Louisiana State University.
